How much does a tattoo cost?
All of our artists at Fallen Angel Tattoos work hourly. We have an $80 shop minimum so if your tattoo falls under the hour mark it’ll cost $85*.
We are all hourly and that ranges from $120 hourly to $200 hourly. We like to give a price estimate that has a range versus a definite price; skin differs in texture from person to person, location changes pricing since different areas need more time and care, etc.
*There are exceptions depending on the artist! Some locations of the body (example Ribcage) will have at least a $100 minimum. Please talk to your artist to get a better idea of what you’re wanting.

Should I tip? What's a good tip?
It is recommended to tip your artist, but it isn’t expected to tip!
Just like you’d tip your hair dresser or server, tipping your artist lets your artist know their work is appreciated. As with most professionals in the service industry, 20% is a fairly standard tip. Tips range anywhere from $20 - $200+ depending on the cost of the tattoo and what you deem is a good tip.
If you’re unsure what would be a good tip, don’t be afraid to ask your tattoo artist!

Do you tattoo minors?
At this time we do not tattoo minors.

Can I be tattooed or pierced if I'm on antibiotics or steroids?
If you are on antibiotics or steroids, we strongly recommend to reschedule your appointment. (Unless specified by your doctor it’s safe to get tattooed on the medication) Getting tattooed while on either can cause problems with the healing process and our work isn’t given the best chance at healing properly.

What is the most painful place to get tattooed?
This really depends on the person. Some people may be really sensitive in an area, while another person may not be phased at all.
The most common sensitive areas for people are skull, palms of the hands, sternum, ribs and feet

What if I am sick?
If you’re sick, please contact your artist to reschedule! When your body is already immunocompromised, we don’t want to add a new tattoo to your healing body. It can cause a lot of complications with the healing, and we want you to feel your best when you’re getting your tattoo!
Is this your first tattoo?
Do you not know what to expect?
At your first tattoo appointment, we will have you start out with a consent waiver. This waiver goes over your health, that this is a permanent procedure, and other information we need from you. The artist will then procede to ask questions about sizing placement and other specifics of the tattoo. Once you are in love with the size of the stencil, we will place the stencil onto you.
Once you’re happy with the size and placement of the stencil, the artist will go ahead with setting everything up for the tattoo.
Most people describe the pain of tattoos as being similar to a cat scratch, or like a bee sting. Most people get an endorphin rush after 15 - 30 minutes. It’s similar to when you workout or when you’re really happy.
