Fallen Angel Tattoos does a variety of piercings!  To make sure we have time to do your piercing(s), it is best to schedule an appointment with our piercer;

Savannah ~ 801-864-8198

Before-hand:

  • Make sure to eat before your piercing!  Lack of eating can make your blood sugar crash, even if you aren't diabetic; causing you to faint.
  • Bring your I.D.
  • Don't be late, if anything be a little early since you will need to fill out a waiver.
  • Clean sheets, blankets and pillow cases before getting a new piercing, since this can trap bacteria.

Procedure (brief):

Before the piercing starts, make sure to let our piercer know if you're prone to fainting, diabetic, have metal allergies, or your body struggles with new piercings!

We pierce with high quality 316L Surgical Steel jewelry.  If your body struggles to heal with Surgical Steel or have metal allergies, we do offer alternative Titanium and Bio-flex jewelry if requested*

*Please note that titanium jewelry is a much more precious metal, therefore, we do charge $5.00 more to substitute Surgical Steel for Titanium.

To make it easier for our clients, we include the price of the jewelry* for the piercing in the price listed to the right--->

Cleaning & Taking Care of Piercings:

First things first, wash your hands thoroughly before cleaning or touching your piercing!  Once the piercing is done, piercing should be cleaned twice a day; we recommend cleaning piercings with:

  • Saline solution for contact lenses (No additives)
  • Salt solution - Fill a shot glass or mug with distilled water (a big jug can be bought at almost any store!) and 1/4 or 1/8 Teaspoon of non-iodized Sea Salt.  Put into the microwave until it is warm/hot.

Clean both sides of piercing with a clean Q-tip.

For oral piercings we recommend NON-ALCOHOL mouthwash and buying a new toothbrush. Swish around the mouthwash for 1 minute after each time you eat, and morning and night. Brush your teeth as normal as well as a little brushing on the metal won't hurt the piercing.

Tips & Hints:

  • Be careful not to snag piercing!  Some cartilage piercings are prone to getting little bumps called 'Hypertrophic Scarring'.  These are NOT keloids, and overtime will go away.  Diluted Tea Tree Oil, and Emu Oil can help the bump shrink.
  • If your piercing is on your ear, try sleeping on the other side, or on your back
  • If your piercing is healing, try to reduce sun exposure since this can cause piercing to get irritated.
  • Avoid putting makeup around the area of the piercing as this can trap bacteria
  • Don't over-clean, this wont speed up the healing process!

If you have ANY questions, do not hesitate to ask our piercer!  No question is a stupid question.

Big NO'S:

  • NO TOUCHING THE NEW PIERCING
  • NO PLAYING WITH THE NEW PIERCING
  • DO NOT SUBMERGE - NO BATHS, HOT TUBS, POOLS OR LAKES
  • NO CHANGING THE JEWELRY BEFORE FULLY HEALED

Minors:

To pierce a minor we require: both parents present on any minor younger than 17 years of age.  Once 17 years of age, we only require one parent present.

In both situations we require: minor's birth certificate, both parent's I.D.'s, and 16+ years old's I.D.
